    On-Campus Visits

The best way to get to know Allegheny — and for us to get to know you — is by spending time on campus.

We also encourage you to see our virtual sessions here.

    Campus Tours

These customized walking tours of campus, led by a current Allegheny College student guide, last approximately one hour. We recommend that you sign up for a counselor session along with your campus tour.

    Counselor Sessions
Counselor sessions serve as an informal, informative conversation with an admissions staff member. The time is used to discuss the opportunities at Allegheny and the admission process. Prospective students should come prepared to discuss their interest in Allegheny and their questions. These sessions typically last about 45 minutes, with an opportunity for family members to join at the end and ask questions. Counselor sessions are now open for the prospective Class of 2022 & 2023!

    Open Houses
Join us on a Saturday during the fall to tour campus, connect with professors and current students at the academic fair, and get an insider's view of life at Allegheny through lunch with community members. Our open houses are 9:30am through 1:15pm on the following Saturdays: October 9, and November 13. Sign up now! All class years are invited.

    Fall Into Allegheny
Special events exclusive to high school seniors, and potential transfer students, Fall Into Allegheny will include a class experience, campus tour, information session, student success resource fair, plus lunch with community members. Each day's events begin at 8:30am and will conclude by 1:30pm. Choose from events on: October 25, November 17, and December 3.

    Visitor Center
You can find links to our recommended local accommodations, directions to campus and more in our visitor's center. Before visiting you can take a virtual tour and learn more about our hometown, Meadville, PA.

In an effort to promote the health and well being of our entire community, we ask students, faculty, staff, and visitors to be respectful and not travel to campus if they are ill, have been in contact with someone that has been ill in the past 14 days, or have traveled to any CDC-restricted area. Please monitor your local health department guidelines, Pennsylvania travel guidelines, and State Department travel advisories. We must ask that you refrain from visiting if your area remains under stay-at-home orders and have travel restrictions. All visitors will be asked to complete a mandatory health questionnaire 24 hours in advance of their visit. Unvaccinated guests will be required to wear masks during their time on campus and all visitors to campus must wear masks when indoors, regardless of vaccine status. All visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Public areas are being cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis and between visitors. To help with physical distancing, we ask that you limit the number of guests and family members accompanying you during your visit to two people.
