    Gator for a Day Personalized Visits

    Create a personalized visit by telling us what you want to experience through your customized Gator for a Day visit itinerary. Visits may include a campus tour, meeting with an admissions representative, shadowing a college class, and more! Sign up using the calendar widget to let us know how we can help you explore all that Allegheny has to offer. A typical visit includes a tour and meeting with an admissions representative and will last about two hours. 

    Special Events

    Admitted Student Days
     
    A special event celebrating admitted students! Guests will have the chance to learn about student research, enjoy a mock class experience, connect with campus wide resources, learn about your next steps as an admitted student, and more. As a special bonus, deposited students can receive their official Allegheny IDs. Students will need to register via the admitted student portal. Call our office at 814-332-4351 if you need assistance registering. 
    • March 22nd - Admitted Student Day
      • A celebration for admitted students and their families. Get to know Allegheny by connecting with current students at the clubs and resource fair. Other highlights include research presentations and a panel about orientation and your first-year experience. Campus tours are available, as well up close views of residence halls, our athletic facility, and the theatre. Join us this weekend for a Playshop Theatre performance of This Random World.
    • April 12th - Admitted Student Day
      • Our final celebration for admitted students and their families before the May 1 enrollment deadline. Get to know Allegheny by connecting with current students at the clubs and resource fair. Other highlights include research presentations and a panel about orientation and your first-year experience. Campus tours are available, as well up close views of residence halls, our athletic facility, and the theatre.

    Spring Open House

    Allegheny's Spring Open House includes an overview presentation, campus tour, student panel, and an academic fair. This event is geared towards juniors and sophomores, but any high school student may attend.  Summer Open Houses

    Save the date for our summer events. Our summer open houses feature campus tours, admissions and financial aid presentations, and time to connect with current students.

      Saturday Information Sessions

      Our two-hour Saturday sessions include a customized, student-led campus tour and group information session with an admissions team member. We encourage you to stay for lunch with current students, and we offer individual meetings with admissions as well as faculty and staff (weekend availability may be limited).

      High School and Independent Counselor Visit Sign-ups

      High School Counselor and Independent Counselor Visits
      If you are a high school or independent counselor interested in scheduling a personal visit to Allegheny, please register for a visit here. If you are looking to schedule a visit for you and your students please register using our group visit request form below. 
       

      Group Visits
      Group visits, available Monday through Friday, are designed for high school student groups interested in learning about Allegheny College. Topics covered will include the value of studying the liberal arts and sciences, experiential learning and student life, the application process, financial aid, and scholarships. All groups must include one chaperone for every 10 students. Complete our form to begin planning your visit.
