Allegheny Referral Scholarship

Do you know a student who would be a great fit for Allegheny? We would love to connect with them and share more about our empowering interdisciplinary approach to education through our major-minor combinations. And, when you refer a student they will receive a $1,000 scholarship renewable for all four years, making a $4,000 total impact.

High school student eligibility:

apply by December 1 of their senior year of high school
are admitted to Allegheny
submit their enrollment deposit by May 1
referral form must be submitted by December 1

Transfer student eligibility:

apply by December 1 for Spring admission; apply by April 1 for Fall admission
are admitted to Allegheny
submit their enrollment deposit by January 1 for Spring; deposit by August 1 for Fall
referral form must be submitted by December 1 for Spring admission and April 1 for Fall admission

Please note:

You can refer students any time to receive information about Allegheny, however to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be referred by and apply to the College by the above deadlines.
Allegheny Referral Scholarships are renewable for 4 years.
Students are only eligible to receive one Allegheny Referral Scholarship even if they are referred by multiple friends of the College.
